Plotting Post: August/September

OVERjoy is a game which requires a lot of player to player communication to make things work well. To help you guys out with this, we will be providing a monthly (though this one will cover September as well, because it's nearly the end of August) plotting post you can use to plan things out if you wish.

The post is split into the following subthreads:
GENERAL PLOTTING: For your day-to-day point gathering needs.
MISSIONS: For planning out what you want to happen during the biweekly missions.
EVENTS: For planning things that might happen during any special events we have.

Okay so what this is going to be is a point exchange of varying amount involving YOU.... letting ME.... have Yotsuya scare the shit out of your character.

Or, you know, mildly disturb them. I actually don't care how many points he gets (although I guess by rule at least 10 or whatever the minimum is), because -- he doesn't care. He actually just wants to freak people out.

THERE ARE MANY POSSIBLE OPTIONS you might have ideas yourself!!! Tell me them. BUT the thing I've been dying to do wow lame is actually fairly simple:

he will follow you around, dead silent and staring with his big creepy eyes, from a disconcerting distance, all day. Maybe longer. Possibly until someone panics, I dunno. what im saying is slenderman

I have nothing planned for Marx at the moment, but he's going to eventually get back at Bel for humiliating him way back when. Other than that, he'll do some minor pranks on the side, so if anyone wants to have a small amount of points lost, let me know.

Also, if you want his points taken away (he's in the negatives right now), let me know too.

So Bel is the resident douche prince who's here to make everyone's lives miserable for the fun of stabbing and lolz. I'd love for him to have some evil buddies to have fun, miserable times with, as well as bully victims and rivals and people he thinks are worthy of not being stabbed idk. If you want CR with him I WANT YOU (ﾟ∀ﾟ)

ALSO. If you want a easy, quick and questionably fun way to put your muse through a horrible, traumatizing death, Bel's your guy! /o/

Latvia's plotting is kind of two-fold so I'll just put it here.

In terms of missions he's going to go with dying someone's clothes since it involved the least amount of bodily harm. The main problem is, if he manages to get the points he's going to go AWOL. Since the reveal of how the game is really played he decided he's only staying long enough to pay off his loan and then he's going home.

So! I basically need a reason for him to stay and actually get involved in the game. The easiest way would be to get him focus on revenge or get him into a manner of thinking that's basically 'it's okay to hurt people for points if they're bad people'. Of course other options are fine, if you have a particularly manipulative character that works too, those are just the only things I could think of for now. I'd love to get some intense negative CR.

Okay, so for the rest of the month if anyone wants to set something up. Shizuo's generally trying to do stuff that could net him points, but wouldn't be harmful or is temporary.

Anyone want to end up disturbed or something because they keep finding their food stuffs and drawers open. Maybe things switched around, or missing for a time before suddenly showing up in its place again? (Well, save for food. Speaking of-)

Sometimes Shizuo forgets and might be eating the other food in the fridges. OOPS. Anyone wanna fall victim? Sometimes he tries to put fresh food back, but he's mentally a natural blond.

So far, Bel is getting his laundry dyed by Rhyme, dying the spooky hobo up there orange after he knocks him out, and getting poisoned by said hobo in revenge. HOWEVER, he does need some poison to knock the guy out. Anyone have some for the taking/trade?

Also, if you want to try to paint him orange when he's upchucking/being knocked out from upchucking, go right ahead 8D

Because he failed spectacularly at tripping people into the fountain, he's trying for medium this time! Chances are he'd go after a random stranger, so if you want some CR with him and we haven't managed to thread much yet, sign up here. I don't mind people getting payback at all (as long as it's not permanent, sob).

i'll run around the rest of this post and the general thread when i don't need to be up in the morning, BUT FOR NOW, have something short and... stuff.

Rin did... nothing during the last missions because he is a loser, so he's out for the big points now! He's looking to either get himself some laundry or a person dyed. And he's not picky, he'll go after people he knows and people he doesn't know alike, whenever an opportunity arises!

Alternatively, if you wanna plot out him ending up victim to any of the three missions, hit me up, because that's also totally awesome! ...And would likely to lead to plotting revenge pranks and that's totally awesome too, right?

Tomoko's planning to spike a few bottles of orange juice with whatever the equivalent of ex-lax is in Joywick and putting them in the shared fridges whenever she gets a chance to sneak them in there. It's not deadly poison, but hey, she's still new at playing vicious stuff like this.

Whether anyone falls for it or not, well, that's a matter left up to others, so!

And as always, I'm also open to plot out losing points to other people doing missions. Aw yeah.

Mikado's been living like a hobo thus far, so now he needs to at least rake in something.

He probably can't do squat on his own-- but with a partner in crime (or partners if need be), they'd be able to rule the world and two other planets. Basically, all he needs is a push and a shove in the right direction in order to get over the whole moral dilemma issue in playing this game.

I'm perfectly comfortable with other party members taking the points in his place (they could probably dupe Mikado into thinking everyone gets a fair share if they help each other out while doing the deed)-- and I'll probably encourage it, too!

and if you want to be really mean and victimize him too, by all means-- go right ahead

So, Shizuo really doesn't want to harm or cause anything that would hurt others. Because that's a dick thing to do, and he hasn't gotten that desperate. Yet

What I'm thinking of having him do is, after his own shower, take some stuff with coloring in it and put it in the showerhead. Like, screw it off, put the tiny packet in and leave it there for the next person. Nothing that would really stain someone, but with the water being orange anyway it wouldn't be immediately noticeable and could get washed off with another shower.

Or two

Anyone want to take this up? It'd probably be put together... Thursday morning?



Also up for people wanting to try and poison/paint or other things during the week.

He'll actually start off playing a few games against Meredith and try and shoot a few poor souls, "accidentally", and compensate by offering them a game against him (this is where your character gets the opportunity to shoot HIM) then i suppose it'll just be....all out dart war against him and whoever!!

but because meredith and elijah are pretty much working together to accumulate points, meredith will also be trying to shoot the person from a secluded distance wow these two suck. all types of revenge are accepted!!! (with the exception of killing...for now..) and all competitors are welcome! if you have any specific ideas/requests or plots against them then by all means let me know!

Options 2 and 3 are out for dear Masaomi here because despite what he'd like you to believe, he does draw lines and they are very solid lines, thankyouverymuch.

So Masaomi is going to be looking for a newbie to keep awake for a couple of days either through his sweet, sweet serenades or through a steady and persistent chorus of "This is the Song that Never Ends" and great hits like it. Who's with me?

this week, mikado's probably going to tackle junko and belphegor (HE'S NOT NEW LEAVE HIM ALONE YOU ASSHOLES), but if he lives to see daylight again, he might try to slip some thumbtacks onto people's beds

Since it sounds like no one's already going to be getting a good night's sleep for the next few days... Would anyone like some welcome thumbtacks or pins or... idk, forks, under their sheets? Not that Tomoko is very adept at being a horrible, nasty sneak yet, so getting caught in the act is just as likely as success. o/

Otherwise, she's probably the least dangerous of the original crew and could help with the initial 'be friends, get points' stuff, too, though thaaat's more likely if you're a girl.

Elijah won't be taking these missions too seriously but he and Meredith know a thing or two about abductions and why not start the game off with a bit of a THRILL??? of course you're welcome to get back at them by any means necessary!! plotting is great too!
